Dr. Manolis Koutlis, is the President and CEO of Talent Information Systems S.A. (www.talent.gr), a high-tech startup company located in Athens, Greece, specializing in geo-information systems and solutions. Prior to that, during the period 1985-2002 he has held various positions at the Research Academic Computer Technology Institute (http://www.cti.gr). Over the last 10 years he has managed R&D projects of a total of about 10M?. He holds a PhD on the "Design of innovative learning environments, with application to geography". He has a strong background in software systems design, geographic information systems (GIS) and educational technologies. He has published more than 20 articles in refereed journals and international conferences and has co-organized workshops with leading international speakers.
