Money Conferences and the Pharma & Health Business magazine are organising, at a major turning point of the Greek healthcare system, the 3rd Pharma & Health Conference, on Tuesday July 17, 2012, at the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel.
The Memorandum and the consequent "internal devaluation policy" coupled with the Greek state's inability to adopt the necessary reforms have created a suffocating situation in the healthcare sector. Patients, health professionals and businesses are now called to operate under a new regime whose main characteristic is the lack of financial resources. The Health Policy of Greece is facing decades-old problems, but is unable to provide solutions under the tight timetable imposed by the Memorandum.
Under this prism, this year's Pharma & Health Conference aims to identify the actual consequences of the financial crisis on the healthcare system of Greece. A number of competent government representatives, expert scientists and senior executives in the healthcare market will attempt to highlight the policies that will assist the Greek healthcare system to recover from the shock caused by the financial crisis.
